I’m so glad you’re here! This space was created to share daily devotionals, encouragement, and practical coping strategies to inspire your heart and strengthen your faith. My hope is that these reflections, rooted in Scripture, will bring you comfort and clarity as you navigate life’s challenges. Occasionally, I’ll also share self-care tips and emotional well-being strategies, drawing from my work as a therapist, to help equip you for whatever comes your way.
I’m a Christian who gave my life to Christ and was baptized in November 1990. My faith is the foundation of everything I do. After serving 20 years in the Air Force, I felt drawn to a career as a therapist. During my time in the military, I saw how much supportive relationships and effective communication can impact a person’s well-being. Those experiences, along with witnessing the resilience of military families, inspired me to help others by providing tools and encouragement to navigate life’s hardships and find healing. Through Butterfly Renewal, I celebrate the beauty of God’s work in my life and strive to reflect His light, knowing that with Him, I can rise above any storm and soar into His purpose.
At Butterfly Renewal, I believe in the power of faith to uplift, transform, and renew. My mission is to encourage others to walk in faith, trusting that God has a plan for each of us, no matter what life brings. We are called to reflect His love and bring hope to others, shining His light into a world in need. Through my writing and reflections, I aim to inspire, uplift, and provide support as we all grow in our walks of faith.
As a believer in Jesus Christ, I affirm that He is my Savior, and through His grace, I am forgiven and made new. I believe in the Trinity—God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and trust in the transformative power of the Holy Spirit to guide, empower, and equip me for a life of purpose and faith.
